Internet Marketing Is?
Internet Marketing is running a home based business using the internet to market your product or services to consumers. Bill Gates once stated that Internet Marketing was in his top three picks of top paid careers of this millinium.
For some reason, people thing Pyramid scheme when they think of Internet Marketing. Now let me clarify this myth. A pyramid scheme is not the same as a genuine Internet Marketing program. While they both may place an emphasis on finding referrals, that is pretty much where the similarities end.
With a Pyramid system the whole concept is set up so that the only person who profits is the guy at the very top. Kind of like the corporate system so many are seeking to leave. And honestly when you think about it that's not really fair. In my years of ignorance I got involved with one. lost a lot of money and left feeling angry.
With a true Multi Level Marketing system everyone who is involved in the program has the same equal ability to make money and everyone get's paid! Your potential wealth is all dependent on your ability to market correctly.
In addition to MLM systems there is also Affilliate Marketing which to sum up is making money off of other people's products. This is truly a wonderful thing. You don't have to come up with your own product, commissions are oftentimes very nice and it's not difficult to market. Affiliate marketing is the way to leverage your MLM product.
Making a career as an Internet Marketer is one of the most profitable and rewarding careers you could possibly have chosen to enter. You answer to no boss. You set your own hours and you can pretty much work from anywhere in the world and have fun doing it. But the most important thing for me is being able to be in a position to help others.
